We are here to make your life easier

My great-grandfather was in construction in Iowa in the 50’s and 60’s. My grandfather owned a concrete business in Mesa in the 70’s and 80’s. I started setting forms and pouring concrete with gramps, my dad and two uncles during junior high school summers (HOT!). By now, Mom had built and sold her custom home decorating studio. I like to think some of her design creativity may have rubbed off on me. My dad could build a garage, landscape a yard, pour concrete or fix anything that didn’t work. Like I said, construction is in my blood.

A Few Words

Hi. I’m Brent Beers, the founder of Southwest RPX. I love Arizona – the weather, the views, the culture, the variety. My family moved to Arizona from Iowa in 1978 when I was eleven. After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in Finance, corporate America drew me to Los Angeles and a 14-year stint wearing a suit and tie and learning how businesses operate began.

I brought my young family back to Arizona to be closer to parents, sisters and extended family, plus blue skies and sunsets. Something kept drawing me back to housing and construction.

So now it was my turn. After helping a friend remodel fully 95% of his house in San Diego and designing our new family home in Mesa, I helped my uncle add a familyroom and master bathroom to his house, then relandscaped a friend’s front and back yards. I felt a calling. The family construction legacy was to extend to a 4th generation and Southwest RPX was born on March 5, 2005.

I find it rewarding to meet and interact with so many wonderful people and helping them bring their desires, ideas and visions to reality. Our team at Southwest RPX has done annual work with some customers for 12+ years, which is fantastic. It is more gratifying to develop relationships with customers and tend to their ongoing needs and changes, plus that of their friends and family, than to advertise for new customers. We have begun to do limited advertising in addition to handling the ongoing needs of our previous customers.

When I’m not working, you will find me with family and friends, playing racquetball, or at the gym. Ya gotta stay fit to show these young whippersnappers what real work is really like and how to do the best you can at whatever you are doing.
